Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Assorted questions

1) When buying a bike intended for use with full wrap mudguards, do some people tend to buy a frame size too large to account for the reduced clearence between front of shoes and mudguards during turning?

2) In anouther thread it has been said that Ultegra SL shows any surface damage / scratches badly. Does Dura-Ace wear better?

3) Which Campagnolo groupsets are roughly equivilant to Ultegra and which to Dura Ace?

Maybe, Unlikely, and It Seems Highly Likely.

The 8-ball is always right.

That'll be $12.50.

1) Touring/commuter frames should have those clearances built in. Also, toe overlap isn't really an issue under normal riding conditions.
2) Dunno
3) The Campy line goes like this, from top to bottom: Record, Chorus, Centaur, Veloce, Mirage. Calling things "equivalent" is bound to provoke one of those threads.
