In Honor of pcad

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

In Honor of pcad

pcad sucks!

Now, on with the self loathing!

Ok, actually pcad is my hero. He no doubt has more miles last month than I had all last year. Where do you find the time pcaddy?

That is all.

Pcad is my anti-hero. I hope to achieve his level of self-loathing & cycling zen when I am his age. To make pcad one's hero runs counter to the whole self-loathing thing.

The fact that you use the word "seppo" to describe Americans is stunning in it's absolute stupidity.

Thanks for the window into your brilliant intellect.

Semper Fi brother

To be clear for those who may be unfamiliar - this is how "seppo" comes about; Yank rhymes with tank, leading us to septic tank, shortened to seppo.

Brilliant, eh?

really?? not my understanding at all.. guess I am naive

I will just have to take comfort in the fact that the three times I stopped by the great down under on deployment the women threw themselves at me and the other Marines because the Australian men were such dogs.

edit: and oh yeah.. Pcad has motivated me to get off the couch and ride on more than one occasion.. as much as I hate to admit it.

Been to Perth myself on the return from WestPac.

Don't get me wrong - I thought the Aussies I met were outstanding people.

When I first got on BF, and came across him, I thought, 'Who the heck is this arrogant son-of-a-****?'

...and now I'm a Pcad fan.

Dear god, what's happened to me?!

I guess I can add "lack of humour" to my list of seppo traits.

And because if you kill me the percentage of Jersey kids who can't spell automatically ratchets UP.
