Opinions of Ritchey WCS Carbon Evolution SL?
I am not happy with the shape of the bars that came on my Tarmac SL. I like to have a level and smooth transition to the hoods, as on my TCR:
The bars on the tarmac have flat tops and are designed with the transition to the hoods below the top, and by rotating the bars to get the transition I wanted, a) the drops are at the wrong angle, b) the flat tops are angled funny, and c) the reach is too far:
I'm looking at the WCS Carbon Evolution SL, it appears in the pictures and on the spec sheet to have a profile similar to the bars on my TCR (Bontrager of some sort). I like Ritchey products, I have a 4AXIS on both bikes and a WCS seatpost on the TCR. Opinions? Alternatives?

Might also look at the Easton EC90 SLX3. Not perfectly flat, but a nice shape that's in the same league at the Ritchey. No experience with either, but both are on my short list of carbon bars for much the same reason. I opted for something else entirely, though.

I have the Aluminum WCS bars, and they seem to do what you want to with my SRAM Red.
