frame value question

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I'd say $500 is a bit high for a bike that probably didn't retail for much more than $1000 complete...

I'd be happy with $250.

Thats a run-of-the-mill aluminum frame and cheapie fork...you'll be lucky to get $150 from some hipster who wants to convert it into a fixie. Not a judgment on your bike, that's just how it is, I think.

Three recent sales on eBay say you're too high. A full bike went for less than $500.

25¢ on the dollar is reasonable compared to new unless it's in like perfect condition. Not really any collector value so your market is people looking for something cheap.
