Multi-color cranks: Cool Factor?
 

How cool would you be with some cranks that were, say, black on one side and the color of your bike on the other?

not as cool as solid aluminum with scratch marks from your shoe.

About half as cool as both sides with the same color.

My bike has two cranks: the left and the right.

Tune makes 'em in a rainbow of colors. Alternatively, you could have any metal crank finished in whatever color you wanted. For that matter, you could probably have a shop do all kinds of custom paint jobs on any crank. The shoe scratches would detract from it, however.
