Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

What is the lightest frame out there?

Just curious. Do these really light frames have limitations?

They're only good for one ride, after which they must be properly disposed of to prevent disastrous environmental damage.

Though word on the street is that you can sell them on the black market to underground militants building ICBMs.

A Lightweight Total Eclipse frame custom-built to fit a four year old.

(with CF Tri-spoke training wheels)

It wouldn't be UCI legal though.

Our local shop here built up a Ruegamer UL to 11 lbs final weight. The frame is 628g for a 53cm top tube size.

The storck fascenario 0.7is is truly a light frame but at 750g hardly the lightest.

As uberclkgtr said, Jason at FWB rue is 628 and that is with clear and wrapped to be extra stiff. He has some 500g versions which I think are the lightest full sized frames.
