powerbar buy?
 

A local store is having a clearance on PowerBar Performance Step 1, Energize variety packs. They are the 24 count packs and are on sale for just under $12 per box. Is this a good deal, and if it is worth it for anybody, I am willing to buy a bunch and sell them at cost + shipping. It seems like a good deal to me, not sure how long they will last though (they had about 50 boxes yesterday).

If anybody is definitely in, let me know by 2pm eastern time today and I will grab them when I go out (I am getting some for myself anyway). If I get requests after 2pm I can go back tomorrow and will get them if there are any left and if they are still on sale.

As long as the expiry date has not past, that is a really good deal. .50¢ a bar. My LBS used to sell them for like $1.75+

I have some expired ones I'll sell you for .48¢ each ;)

haha, good point. I just checked a couple single bars I bought from the same place/batch a couple weeks ago before they were on clearance ($1 per bar). They are mixed dates all aug 08.

I will check before buying any of the other ones, but I am guessing late 08 is the average exp date.

That is a great buy... Costco has it at $20 and that's the cheapest I've seen them... Good call on the expiration....

Well, I got some for myself, cant beat $11.50 per 24. The expiration is oct 2008. Thanks for brining up the expiration date thing, it would have sucked to have a bunch of expired ones! These should hold me over for the summer (and some fig newtons of course).

Aw man. I wish the local stores over here had that kind of price. I would have bought 2 or 3 of them. The expiration date's not long enough to really buy in huge bulk.
