Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

What kind of arrangement does Cipollini have that allows him to ride a different bike the the rest of the Team? Does he have a bike line called Cipollini or is it just badged that way else, I can't find any info about it.

AT 41 even going down a slope brings this kind of pain.

Just kidding, he is climbing and still very impressive.

I believe it is a De Rosa that he had them paint with he name on it. I read it somewhere on here (or a link) last week.

Codpiece? Cadillacs? Cheap Prostitutes?

Nah. Not by bag really.

'OMG!! Liek we're soooooo bad!! LOL!!'

(I'll give them some points on the LAS helmets though)

And perhaps they will draw people in from non-conventional audiences...

Not big on the green but the rest is okay. Cipo's bike looks exactly like my Storck vision light.

Not a De Rosa, but he's own bike, similar to his aluminum Specialized.

Nothing to do with their 'look' really, but I thought this picture was amusing.

That ball cap looks like something you would pick up at a Flying-J gift shop.

Doesn't look to me like the cap is interfering with the cs in any way.

I've never seen such a mediocre team get so much attention. How many podium finishes did they get in the TOC? Unless I'm mistaken, Mario got 3rd in a stage, right?

Having said all that... I absolutely love it. Make no mistake about it-- this is good for cycling. If people are talking-- it's good. With all the scandals surrounding our sport over the last few years, this could be the beginning of some much needed new energy.

And I love the girls! I've seen a lot of misogynistic B.S. in other threads here at BF (so spare me that here), but like it or not, they generate excitement.

Who's to stay they're mediocre? They've only done one race. Mario got a top 3 and Creed was all over the tv screen on the final stage while their B team was going 1-2 at the Valley of the Sun stage race crit. How many races has Slipstream won?
