Dream bike to lust after?

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Dream bike to lust after?

I bought a new bike last year, so am not in the market to actually pull the trigger on a new purchase just yet. However, I would love some dream bike recommendations to lust after if anyone has any suggestions (and pics).

Many thanks.

Bikes with high price tags are generally what people "dream about" (whether for price or quality is debatable).

And rest assured that there is no end to said high (read: overly?) priced bike stuff. The list is endless.

Yes, I'm a retro grouch. I fully accept that and am comfortable with my lot in life.
Most frames by Waterford also make me drool.

I have many and they are wildly different - from Hetchins to Parlee. My current semi-attainable fantasy bike is an Ira Ryan.

My take -- because I still have 8 speed

Dream bike :

Ti or 953 or Ti Carbon Mix or a Bianchi FG frame
3 wheelsets -- training with PT, climbing and Aero
SRAM or Campy drivetrain
2 cranksets and choice of cassettes
anatomic shallow handlebars and some kind of look pedals

plus a second set of components and spare parts

However, given the choice between owning a dream bike ot having more time to ride/race I'd rather have the time and the discipline to be better rider!

The color scheme is atrocious, but I love the lugwork and the detail in the frame. I'd personally get it painted differently, but the aesthetic I can't get enough of.

I dream more abouth the roads I want to ride and the engine I want rather that the bike I want. That said I guess the correct number of bikes is n+1 so:

I would love a red and chrome Cervelo Super Prodigy. I have no idea why as I have never even seen one in person.

I already have a carbon BMC Pro Machine, an aluminium BMC Street Fire and an old 531 Holdsworth so I don't really need a new bike.

This being my dream bike and proving dreams come true.
