Attachiing Look "memory" piece to Sidi Genius 5

Has anyone drilled a hole in a Sidi Genius 5 shoe to mount the "memory" piece for a Look Keo pedal? It seems like the sole could handle a small screw and the screw wouldn't protrude too far. Has any done this?

My Genius 5 (not sure, but they could be 5.5) have a hole for the memory piece. No drilling needed.
