Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Fuji Roubaix RC

Any owners out there? i get a pretty awesome hook up on Fuji's(50% off). bike looks great, has good components.

Anyone by chance have the RC? how does it ride? opinions?

Opinions on Fuji as a whole would be great too. thanks!

I like my Team Pro.

I don't like being in third place.

I have a Team RC....great bike...but i am dealing with major misery with the warranty right now. Some how (none of it my fault) the BB developed a crack. almost 4 weeks now and still no new frame, very upsetting to me as it seems fuji is dragging their feet.

I have a Roubaix LTD (same frame, slightly up-spec); it's a great bike. No regrets, especially if the price is right. Mostly Ultegra for <$1000? Go for it.

i came across one of your previous posts from last summer where you were having fitment issues with your 54cm fuji pro bike at the time. the fuji team rc you have now, is that the same size of the fuji rc you have now. the only reason i am asking is that i am 5'10" and am just wondering if i should stick with the 56cm 08' fuji team pro or possibly go down a size. check your private messages, i wrote you asking about this.

I had an 05 Team Pro Euro (campy centaur components) and eventually upgraded to an 03 Team SL frameset... and well the rest was history. FUJI bikes are great values, best bang for the buck. Lifetime frame warranties, and usually decent components.

03 Fuji with some upgrades rides well, I love it.

I got it....the wife and i are moving right now, just been a bit busy.....i am 5'9" and the bike works great...i had to change the stem to a 100cm and went with some different handle bars...over all the 54 is a perfect fit to me know that i know how to ride. I think i have put about 5000 miles since that post. i can ride a 56 also as i have long legs i just usually have to go with a shorter stem for that, and i am not super flexible. Take your bike and get a fitting thru a professoinal fitter and you might find a 56 can work just fine for you. Right now i am having issues on a warranty claim with fuji and i am very displeased with them...The bike has been out of commision for a month now as the BB is cracked. 1 month is WAY TOO LONG to wait on a warranty claim for someone who is deep into the Socal racing season, renting bikes is getting very expensive.

I switched from the team pro to the Team RC cause i was getting more flex than i wanted out of the team pro and the frame is quite a bit stiffer on the RC.

Other than that i love the Far Eastern Fury as my friends call it!

sorry to hear about the whole warranty issue with the frame, hopefully fuji will correct that and give you a new frame free of charge. probably should give you the new team issue frame just for the hassle and inconvenience it is causing.

i'm thinking i might switch my 08' team pro in for either an 07' team rc or 08 team rc, just to get a better frame which should keep me satisfied for years to come.

but to the OP, fuji's are a good bike providing a great bang for the buck. i don't think you will be dissatisfied if you get the fuji roubaix RC.

Just curious are you handling your issue through your purchasing dealer or direct?
