Can't make a decision
I recently came into a pretty good deal on a set of used Mavic Ksyrium SSC SL wheels. I've got several rides on the wheels and they are very impressive. But I can't get the idea that a set of new Campy Record/Mavic Open Pros would be better in the long run. I'm 220lbs but didn't have any problems on the Shimano R550(16/20) wheels I was riding. On the one hand the Ksyriums haven't given me any problems, but I am worried that the high tension, low spoke count wheels won't last. On the other hand I already have them and they are light and smooth. What I noticed the most when switching from the R550s to the Ksryiums was how smooth the hubs were. Can anyone compare the hubs to each other(Record/Ksryium SSC SL). I would not want to give up the Ksyriums if the Record hubs weren't as smooth. I'm not much of a racer, so no real need for a race set of wheels. What would you do, ride the Ksryiums or ebay the Ksyriums and have some Record/Open Pro's laced up? Thanks.

OP - If it would make you feel any better, you can add a big dose of generosity to the equation and ship the Ksyriums to me. GIVE BIG! PM me for shipping address.
