Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

HAHA!!!

That's a, "hey...might as well get some money before this 5hitake really blows up. Needs me some more of that LA-train money."

You know I'll get it, but if it is truly the pile of worthless crap that I think it will be then I'll just stop reading it after a few pages and add it to the pile.

hey, why not? If somebody was gonna pay me a bunch of cash to write something, whether I had anything useful to say or not, I think I'd jump at the chance.

Instead I write stuff here on BF... and you lucky dogs get it all for free!

There should be more cycling books like this. It makes it easier to find them at Borders. 10 years ago you had to really look hard to find a cycling book there. Now look! Cycling has its own little shelf tag and the books are not mixed in with 'Other.'
