Noise with new Zipps

Finally tried my new wheels - got a great deal on Zedtech 3s off a Cannondale Supersix Ultimate. I had to switch the hub to Campy, then got Swiss Stops. Tried for the first time today, and I loved them. The ride is buttery with the tubulars, the braking with the Swiss Stops is great. My only issue - they make noise with each revolution. Don't know if it's from a slight out-of-round at the valve but it's definitely noticeable. While short of annoying, I'd definitely prefer to rid myself of it if possible.

Try undoing the rear skewer and make sure that the springs aren't catching anywhere. I have no idea why it makes a difference, but I had the same click-with-each-revolution problem, and I removed and reinstalled the rear skewer and it was fine.

Pete you can't just keep popping into threads without formally announcing your return via a thread of your own.

And risk being called pretentious and self-important? Heavens no. This is BF, after all. :)

If the noise is a clicking at each revolution, it could be as simple as a small diameter valve stem passing through a slightly larger hole in the rim. At each revolution, the slight flexing of the tire causes the valve stem to move back and forth in the rim just enough to make an audible clicking noise. I solved it on my old Corimas by cutting a small piece of a foam sleeve that the local stationery shop sells as pencil/pen grips and putting it around the stem and wedged into the rim.
