Tubless tire fix on road, stans..tufo..pitstop?

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Tubless tire fix on road, stans..tufo..pitstop?

I just wanted to get some real world feedback. I am currently running tubless tires. I have used stans on my mountain bike for years with no issues. I am looking for added protection when running my carbon tubless wheels. Has anyone used stans in tubular tires? Spoke with stans, and they said it would work fine. After speaking with local LBS, they aren't so convinced.

I not concerned with added weight and rolling resistance.
I have tufo tires with removable cores and was considering maybe using tufo sealant..my understanding is stans will seal larger puncuters over 2mm.

Whats the deal?

I use "slime" in my tires. Works great as long as you dont pump the pressure over about 120. I found out that it wouldn't seal the puncture with that much pressure. The slime would shoot out all over the place untill the pressure droped. By then there was not enough to seal.

After that I keep psi at 120 and have had punctures seal instantly. Didn't even know I had one untill I got home and saw a few green specs on the frame.
