Are there any inside jokes for road cyclists?

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Are there any inside jokes for road cyclists?

Hello cyclists!

I am a senior art director working on an ad campaign and was curious to know if anyone has any insight into the world of road cycling in regards to inside jokes, etc. I'm wondering if anything happens during cycling that is common place to avid cyclists as well as casual riders. We're trying to relate to your audience and could use some insight into this.

thanks!

The truth is none of us here actually like to ride, it just gives us all an excuse to wear spandex.

All of cycling is one friggin massive inside joke. If you were involved in the sport, this would quickly become apparent.

Here's one common theme in cycling: everybody is too fat for this idiot sport.

An art director using all bold type? Please. That's almost as bad as a cyclist wearing white knee socks.
