bikes that already come with disc brakes and drop bars. They're mostly closer to CX/touring though.

Now notice that road bikes don't really need disc brakes because they're not going to be usable in conditions that would require them, like snow/ice/mud.
but if you have budget constraints, ￡300, then something like a trek 1000/1.2 would fit the bill.
