Pinarello Complete! Very pretty bike inside...

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Pinarello Complete! Very pretty bike inside...

Just got my new saddle and bar tape, so I figured it was picture worthy now. It's a 1991 Pinarello Veneto. It's got the original 600 group with Campagnolo Delta wheels. The only thing I need for it still is a 120mm stem, then it should be a perfect ride. Did 50 mi on it yesterday and felt a wee cramped, but nothing terrible. Was able to keep up just fine with the local training ride and smoked most of the group in the sprints even. It's fit like most Italian bikes... small. It's a 58. How's it look?

Very nice! The paint really stands out. I can't wait to get my 1991 Fuso built up.

I finished this build about 2 weeks ago. Its a 1998 Pinarello Treviso cyclocross. I got the frame & fork on ebay after it had been custom painted. I decided to build it as a roadie instead of a cross bike. I put Campy Veloce all around including the ultra torque compact crank. Campy proton wheels, Michelin pr2s, Thomson seatpost and assorted other goodies. I love this bike, I dont feel nearly as cramped on it as my other Pinarello.

No I wont flip it

Needs campy.
Please align cranks before taking pictures.
Valve stems aren't lined up consistently on both tires.

Otherwise, that bike is beautiful.

Pinny's - of all types and vintages - rule!

Very nice bike. Looks great. With Campy including Delta brakes it would be to kill for.

Its very nice, but it DOES need Campy. A friend asked me to tune up his old Pinny recently, and it had all the original Pantographed Super Record stuff on it, i was just sick. He had apparently been using tree sap to lube the chain, but once it was clean, it was BREATHTAKING. Black, white saddle, white bar tape, white logos. Simply magnificent.
