Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

If pictures would be appreciated I'll post them up tomorrows. BTW the frame is the raw color that is pretty hard to get a hold of.

I order an SL2 frame back in September.. came in a few weeks ago.. the raw color and I love it.. building it up with record group with ZG brakes.. white fizik alainte saddle, white tape.. was thinking about the Zipp VumaQuad cranks.. but price was too stiff today... I have rolf elan aero and zipp 404 wheels depending on the ride..

Post some photos... I hope to have mine built up by the end of the month..and will post photos then.

That is gorgeous Mike! Do the bearings for the Fulcrum crank slide right into the integrated bottom bracket? Because obviously there are no cups for that because of Specialized's new integrated BB. I have a 08 Tarmac Pro and was wondering what other crank options there were besides the Specialized it came with.

Beautiful! My teammate has the black and red version and it is quite impressive in person. Head tube and bottom bracket regions make my sl look tiny!

Yeah the LBS by me just got one in last week. It looks as if Specialized is finally getting a trickle of these out the door.

Finally.

Question...are those clinchers or tubulars you are running?...considering the GP4000's, which are clinchers, but the wheels don't seem to have a aluminum braking surface.

Reynolds carbon clinchers have a carbon braking surface.
