Probikekit Returns Procedure
Is Probikekit deliberately making it hard to return items bought from them for refunds? I have been trying to fill out the returns form they have on their website, as they instucted in their "new returns policy", but it keeps telling me to "please try again".
I am stumped. I have "tried again" 15 times!, still says "try again". What gives? Thanks. |
How much is what you want to return actually worth? Have you determined how much it will cost to send it back? British mail is beyond cheap, that's why you are getting free shipping. USPS to UK is not such a good deal. Maybe consider listing on CL for a few days and see what happens...

PBK Returns
I just returned some stuff as well. I called them for the return number. It took a while for them to get the stuff check in (USPS probably took forever). So much for the Lance Blue Train...
Anyway, they got me the correct stuff the next time and they credit the USPS shipping to my CC. |
PBK website is hopeless for anything except buying. I recommend calling them.

Probikekit = Pro blem kit
I've had no problem returning to Probikekit when they have sent me the wrong item, or its the wrong size.
But if the item is defective or just cheaply constructed; such as some bibs I recently received, forget it. They simply do not reply to the request for a return form. Over and over again I have filled out the request. No reply. No reply. No reply. Im trying to work thru Visa now. :( So from now on, I won't order from them. |
I returned my Ultegra pedals that were making a clicking sound under climbing, and now they are making up some excuses to send them back to me, that my cleats were loose (they weren't, and how do they make that determination?) I tried same cleats with new pedals before swapping, and no clicking.
It's good that I tried their returns process on something cheap, before buying expensive components from them. I guess with prices like theirs its hard to expect great customer service. But if they just told me that upfront, instead of wasting my time and money shipping it back and forth, I would have sent them directly to Shimano. I am not familiar with the bike warranties, but is there a particular reason why a store would want to make a manufacturer's quality control problem their customer satisfaction problem? |
A few weeks ago PBK sent me the wrong size gloves (medium -- if you want to trade, go to the For Trade sticky in this forum) so I filled out the form (easy) to get a return number and, as I was hoping, they sent me an email saying sorry, keep them, we'll send you Large mitts. And they did.
