Having never purchased road wheels other than what came on the bike, I was in Performance today and held a set of Forte Titans. Have heard some good reviews on them for an entry-level wheel. Lighter than I've felt before (for the price), and only 16 spokes on the front. Hard to believe that wheelset can withstand my 205 pound frame. Guy at the shop said it would, but would need close attention to the true.

hi there, i see you r a kinesis fan i hav an ideal made by kinesis, i love it, recently upgraded to shimano 105, its cool, the only thing remaining are the wheels, i have 2 choices, fulcrum 3 or gipiemme tecno 1.55, big dilemma, the fulcrum really look cool, but the gipiemme are lighter

So Fulcrum or Gipiemme. I would still go with the Fulcrum. Are you being offered them for the same price?

its an Ideal, a greek company, but they are made by kinesis, same geometry, when i stripped the paint to respray it, its identical. I bought a carbon frame from ebay U.S but ended in a 2 months shipping back, waiting phoning to california etc etc, very frustrating mate.....
