Too Curious...

I've been reading and watching videos furiously for the last 3 hours about bike maintenance and design.

One thing I came across that really interested me was Castor Angle. I read that it is more important for determining handling then trail is. Ok, so thats cool, how do you find the Castor Angle, and are smaller angles more stable/not as quick response or is it the other way around?

I've never heard of "caster" being used in reference to bikes. I thought it was more of an automotive term.

Yeah, what is caster angle?

OP - what videos were you watching?

Caster angle is head tube angle. Of course both caster and trail are important.

Maybe she is wrong, but she explains that since trail is affected by the size of the wheel then its not an effective measurement for handling.

as far as what videos, just alot on youtube searching different things about bikes, maintenance, repairs, cleaning etc etc.
