Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

finding a new saddle

I am quite new to biking and just got a trek 5000 late last fall. I love the bike and got it fitted to my size. I am still looking to buy a different saddle and was wondering if any one has ever had a Selle San Marco Atola Steel made for women. I am about 125 lbs and am a size 5 - if that makes any difference. thanks for any help you can give me

I don't know about the Selle San Marco Atola Steel, but my wife has a Selle Italia Diva on her road bike and says she's very happy with it compared to other saddle she's had...

Thanks, I did notice the pic of your wife's saddle looked a lot like the one I was wondering about. The opening in the middle of the saddle seems like a good idea...
