How you take those pictures!?
Many of you have pics of your bikes where there's nothing holding the bike... no wall, nothing. A bike just balancing itself like magic. How you do that?

I think RubenX might be referring to 55/Rad's Orca pics.
I'm sure it's resting against the wall - just the lighting he used at the angles that he had them gave the effect nothing was holding it.
An example pic (or even a link to one) might help us figure it out.

55/Rad's pics are great. But I have seen this magically balanced bike pics all over the place. In garages, on the road, on the grass.... I figured It must be something like a stick, behind the bike, in such an angle that it's covered by the bike. Any other ideas? Fishing line maybe?

True, Photoshop is your friend.
Put a small prop under a pedal then use the clone tool in photoshop to remove it if you want to.

I know what you're talking about.
sometimes it's photoshop
sometimes it's a delicatedly maintained balance between the air flow and the gravity of the bike itself

If you build it light enough it will not only balance itself it will produce 2 watts of power for each % of incline; i.e. 20 watts on a 10% grade.

have someone or yourself hold the bike and let go just before the shutter goes off. Easier with a remote or someone else holding the bike.

I do see something blurry underneath the chainring. Not to insult your photography, which is excellent, but I guess once you look for something, it makes a difference. Kind of like a Moonwalking bear in a group of people. No?

Fixed gear riders will tell you that with the right zen, you can trackstand without even being on your bike.

Fill the frame tubes and handlebars with helium. The weight of the wheels will keep it from floating away.
