May is gone - How many miles last month?

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

May is gone - How many miles last month?

I closed the month of may with 452Mi. Not a lot but a great improvement over April's 383Mi. Most is due to the upgrade from the old MTB to the Road Bike..... more speed, more miles, more fun.

So, how many miles you did last month?

298 -- a new monthly high. Should have passed 300, but shredded my rear tire and had to cut my last ride of the month short.

455mi, bested my previous best for the year by 50%! After a slow start to the year, I'm now on track to hit my goal for the year of 3000mi. I will be off the bike much of August, so need to pack in a few extra miles the next two months to stay on track. Aiming for about 325 a month for the next two. Should keep me on track.

not enough. What can I say, I'm lazy.
But I do make sure I put the hardest effort in while on the bike.

224. It's so much easier to ride more # days when your better 1/2 rides with you and you have a bike that fits well.

Granted I could probably have gone more raw # of miles if I were by myself or rode with our local group but then I might not get dinner every night

550 miles this month counting yesterday's hill climb. Higher than normal due to some out of town cycling trips. 2100 miles this year so far.
