Forgot what movie this is from (maybe a Woody Allen pic), but....
Actor 1: "Do you smoke after sex?"
Actor 2: "I don't know. I've never looked."

I used to smoke until I got back into riding again. Quit with Nicorettes. The difference in breathing, stamina and endurance before smoking and after is amazing. I didn't notice this right away but in 6 months, after my lungs cleared of the guk I really felt a big difference.
I know a couple of riders that smoke. Love the smell!!!!!!!!!!If I didn't love riding so much I probably will still be smoking.

my nice bike is at home
Back when I was 16 I finished a crit race and saw a older dude who had just finished light up a Marboro. This was in Lowel MA in 1982. Tour de Lowel an open race with sanctioned and non sanctioned riders. He didn't look like a very serious rider, but still! I was shocked. No one gave him any crap about it though. It was the '80's.
I smoke about four cigars a year Romeo & Jullite, Cuban only. Bought in Europe. I figure what the hell?
It can be quite enjoyable.
Ever ride behind a NYC bus? I do that everyday fer chrissakes, gotta be much worse.
