Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Greetings.

I'm seeking post-purchase confirmation that I got a good deal.

New, 2003 Fuji Roubaix Pro (full 105): $750 from LBS.

I did good, didn't I?

Will be picking it up tomorrow.

I am recently re-addicted to riding after laying off it for a few years. In past six months I have worked my way back into the saddle and had my first 100-miles day last week.

Generally try to find time and weather for three or four 40-milers a week.

I've been riding my 13-year-old RX100 bike, which still rides nicely, but have grown tired of constant minor repairs (as well as lured by new bike fever).

I am also interested in the new FUJI aluminum
frames that will be in stores this month, for
the FUJI ACE value model.

Right now, I have a steel frame, cro-moly forks,
but FUJI leads all other manfacturers in price and
features ...hopefully, longevity and quality will be
there, as well.

Be sure to take a digital picture for the board's
FUJI fans and non-fans alike.

A Roubaix Pro for less than half price? Good? You stole it! Congrats.
