Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

KOOBIE Saddles

Anyone ever experience riding one of these, or do they have one.

the Prs alpha saddle is their top line, and seems quite interesting the way it is made to stop some shock transmission.
Talking to the owner today the selle smp is a copy of a saddle they orginally made 9 years ago.

Thank-you in advance

I saw on the web page that they recommend replacing saddles at 400 hours. Anyone ever heard of this?

I've had good luck with my AU Enduro; the line runs somewhat wide, which apparently is what my sitbones need. In my experience, it's a well-made and comfortable saddle.

I had a PRS and rode it for 3-4 months. Did not work for me. Never felt comfortable. Love the Fizik Arione.

I tried out a AU Enduro for ~200 miles. Couldn't get comfortable and gave up on it. I was however impressed by their customer service. My friend ordered a PRS model can't remember which. They informed him there would be a delay in shipping that particular model. They sent him the AU Enduro, which he gave to me, as a goodwill gesture for the delay. But his PRS came about a week after the AU!

I had one for a while. Very comfy but a bit heavier compared to my new one (Race X Lite). But I would recommend from a comfort standpoint.
