Kool Stop Tectonic or MTB Pad

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Kool Stop Tectonic or MTB Pad

Hi,

Does anybody use Kool Stop Tectonic or MTB Pad in his road bike? Do they fit? (https://www.koolstop.com/brakes/index...national-29754)

Thanks.

No, but their road specific pads fit road calipers. Why wouldn't you want to use the proper pad?

More is welcome

Hi,
It is a urban bike born from a road frame. Used to mtb disc brake performances, I guess that swapping to a more surface pads I will increase the braking power. My current Dura Ace ceramic pads don't work properly.

Do you certainly know if the Tectonic or the MTB Pads fit in a road frame?

Regards.

You might be able to, but I can tell you the road ones stop just fine, even in urban riding. I've done it many times.....Kool-Stop pads are much better than Shimano.
