Best way to strip these crank arms to make them silver?

Yes, I want them silver.

Shimano website says the arms are painted, not anodized. So, I'm thinkin' I could try some plain old paint stripper to start, before breaking out the emery cloth. :p

Yeah, paint stripper from your local hardware store. Use groves and out in a well ventilated area, not kidding. Unless the logo is etched, that will go away too.
