Mich. Krylion Carbon 700x25c tire in stock??

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Mich. Krylion Carbon 700x25c tire in stock??

Does anyone know where online they might have the Mich. Krylion Carbon 700x25c tire in stock? Hopefully at a descent price. Grey or red....preferable. I'm looking but not finding.

I was in the same boat and couldn't find them anywhere. I heard that they might be discontinuing that model. I ended up getting a Continental GP4000 in 100x25c.

I seriously looked EVERYWHERE and came up empty less than a month ago (in fact I posted the same question you're asking today on this board).

If you find 'em, I'll be impressed.

I assume they have stock, because the tires show up when added to your cart, but you can always call to confirm:

Why is 700x25c such a hard tire to find? I'm in the same boat, my bike has that size, and it seems like everyone is running either 650, or 23c.

Thanks it does appear that they have them in stock. I will call them later when they open to confirm.

Really? I hope not, those are amazingly good tires IMO....good performance AND good puncture resistance in one package. Not easily duplicated. I hope this is just a lull in availability.

I think the 25c is hard to find but the 23c (which are almost 25c by other manufacturers sizing) is easy to find.

Hey guys, I've been riding Krylions for about a year now in the city and they're pretty much amazing. Also of interest, I work at a bike retailer.

Just to let you know, I recall there being a memo about availability issues with Krylions from Michelin, but I don't remember much past that as it was about 5 months ago. I think it was just a supply issue rather than Michelin discontinuing them. They are one of their more popular tires, so I doubt they would discontinue them.

Michelin has great customer service, contact them via email and they'll let you know for sure.

You could probably special order them though your LBS or a retailer like REI. Any of those places should have an account with QBP or another bike parts supplier. The catalog is a thing of beauty.
