Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

2002 Ultegra or 2008 Sora

Hi, I have just recently come upon a set of 2002 Ultegras and I wanted to get some advice if I should replace my 2008 Sora components to the 2002 Ultegras. Both are 9 speed.

Go with the Ultegras, especially if they don't have a whole bunch of miles on them.

Ultegra. My 1999 Ultegra's shift like butter. New sora is still sora, ultegra from any year will perform much better (depending on mileage of course)
