I enjoy trading insults with you, but I'd never ride with any of you

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

How long is the Nyack ride and where in Nyack does it start?

Yeah, those are the dudes already heading back just as I'm pulling into Piermont. Suns o' beeches . . . . I hate 'em!!

Hey ride with me and the Freds, there's plenty of them these days . . . noobs and rookies.

There were some fast dudes on that Nyack Ride today. It's much easier when it all stays together. Much more feasible riding with guys faster than you when there's 25 of them. When it's you and 3-10 guys who are faster than you, there is nowhere to hide, you are a passenger on that train, and it's just a matter of time until they punch your ticket. Oh well.

oh no no no. i didnt mean the fast nyack ride, the slower ride billyD was referencing. i have no desire to even try and pull a line yet. i almost blew my top doing a 30 mile roundtripper from jones point to nyack and back. technically i think i did. any grade that was halfway serious by the end i would just cramp up and damn near tip over. got to love love rolling home at 11pm with no lights or reflectors.
