peak fitness is fleeting...
I am in the process of interviewing for positions within my company for positions in Philladelphia on a transfer basis... Consequently I have been riding less miles with less with intensity. I realised today how fleeting top fitness is. One week you can drop the hammer for 4 hours with no weakness in sight and the next week you are gasping for breath on your weekly Sunday death march. Peak fitness comes slowly and leaves like a fickle mistress...
Cycling requires more work than the profession which provides for my schwag addiction. |
