Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

OK I can take a hint

Ugh, tonight, my oldest (6 yo) wasn't listening, and I kept my word on his punishment: I completely disassembled his Lego Slave 1. Holy crap, I think it hurt me more than him. At least he cried more than I did.

Insult to injury: the instructions are missing!!!
I hate those kinds of punishments. Somehow the "best" things to take away from the kids as punishment are the ones you most enjoy doing with them (had to cancel a planned, long bike excursion a few weeks ago -- hated that).

And you are right -- I can't wait for his birthday to try this out. The four year-old is about to burst as he knows about it and is working so hard not to tell his little brother.

So how about Pcad's new socks? The end of an era?

That's a punishment? Just sounds like you were playing with Legos, to me.

I think you're onto something there, but I think just the threat of posting such a picture would get me some generous offers... or banned.

It took us about 10 hours to build. I "played with Legos" for about 3 seconds to take it apart

I see how it is with you now, PCad. Someone sends you socks and you thank them here on BF, but when I send you my soiled panties, you get a restraining order. I'm beginning to think you don't love me.
