Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I have a Trek bike that I'm trying to find out more information about. It's a road bike that is carbon fiber. But it isn't painted. The back and front forks are aluminum. All of the places the carbon comes together are also aluminum. I think it was build in the 80's or early 90's. I'm 76" and it come up to my waist. I love the bike and it is very strong. Can anyone help?

Yes that is exactly what it is ! Thanks for the information. I have changed everything I could to carbon, front forks, crank, head unit, and bars, but as you can guess I can't change the back. The bike is very strong and light.

Thanks again.
