Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Coffee

From Adam Hanson's Tour blog on cyclingnews.com: "The biggest problem so far is we had the coffee machine break in the bus. Someone, we don't know who exactly, put water where the coffee beans are supposed to go. We had two days without a coffee machine!"

Same thing happened to us at home. Someone, I don't know who exactly (had to be a) my wife, b) the cat) did the same thing to our Jura Capresso machine. Fortunately, it's fixed now.

Boy, I love coffee. I had a cup mid-ride today in 90+F weather. The Starbucks cans of double shot espresso, light, is the best mid-ride.

Coffee.....coffee...without this magic elixer, I refuse to function. I just love that first cup in the morning or late morning, or early afternoon, or mid afternoon, or.........

Illy -- just like Campagnolo....

They even have espresso making retreats --- just like cycle training. You get everything from them, the whole gruppos, beans and frame. Damn!

SRAM red

This one has titanium:

Or...its just not that great. Just like there are $2000+ bikes that ride like a dead fish, there are crappy expensive espresso machines.

I hate coffee. Just give me water, whole chocolate milk, or orange juice.

Beer now and then.

All that's needed for great coffee. A great grinder is the only must.

Just FYI.
