D2 shoes??

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

D2 shoes??

Anyone here have them, use them...Have comments, good or bad...

I'm thinking about forking out the cash for a pair...

I'm in Sidi shoes right now and I they just don't fit right for the long haul. I have a some what narrowish foot and heel. The real problem is that my feet are very low volume and nothing off the shelve comes close to fitting right...except Sidi...I know the killer in the Sidi, for me, is the curved forefoot area of the shoe bed and the arch support...

I'm having issues with foot pain, knee pain, ankle pain. None of these things are killer, but they are there and I know something just isn't right. Everything started going downhill when I got the Sidi's and road pedals. I assumed it was cleat position and/or bike fit related, but all that has been checked out and it's still not where I want it. The last thing I can think of is the contact point where it all starts...my feet...

I've always had problems getting casual and dress shoes to fit right, so why should cycling shoes be any different...

D2 is an amazing company. I have seen their work in person and heard the word from the mouths of the people that wear them.

D2 = Kick ass/10.
Ten tenths.

I've been thinking the same thing. It'll have to be next year though. I'm out of cash right now.

I think I've tried on 20 different cycling shoes, none fit right. As a result, I'm constantly fighting with a numb toe or two on each foot.

If you order them, please let us know how it works out.

Some sort of pithy irrelevant one-liner should go here.
