Post Photos of Your Other Gear Obsession!

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I already have a full time job at an engineering firm, and I'm a full time student as well so that extra part time job thing isn't gonna work out. The insane amount of OT they're giving me this summer is certainly helping though.

Anyhow, to be honest, I'm burnt out on performing. I've done three west coast tours, one east coast tour, and a 6 week US tour and my body just isn't made for all that travel. I've been sucked into playing in side projects with some friends that were supposed to be relaxed, low committment affairs (just write songs, play a couple of shows, and hang out) and without fail, when the project starts to mature, practice ramps up to 3 times a week and they start talking about getting more serious. I really like jamming with friends, creating songs I can be proud of, and recording, but it's really hard to do those things without being more serious about it than I care to be.
You will still miss the bass when it is gone.

Yeah paintballing is definatly more expensive, depending on what bike you get and what upgrades, components etc.. especially when you're traveling around the country playing tournaments even with freebies and barley having to pay for paint or entry on the weekends. My allez cost as much as a paintball gun. I've been out of it for awhile, hard to quit something your good at but darn girls, i guess i should post that as another one of my gear obsessions.

edit: and resale value of highend gear actually isn't that bad if you sell quick enough, I used to make a living off buying and selling guns and gear.

I have a Les Baer Thunder Ranch Special, like the one in paul 858's photo, and some SIGs and other cool handguns, but no way to post photos. The photos inside my laptop are being held hostage by Adobe; after my last update, all I can do is look at my pics; I cannot do anything with them.

I quit playing div 3 as of last year. It was so expensive that it would be impossible to play without sponsors for literally everything. I made alot of my pocket cash wheeling gear on pbnation. As of last year, after I quit, I had made $5,356.00 pure profit from pbnation sales and trades Then I spent all of that on a bike

Yep, it's city for sure. It is indeed shaped like an airplane. Check it out on Google Earth. Brazil is one of my favorite places on Earth, as I lived there for some time.

2003 Topaz Blue Metallic SMG. Last year for this color I believe. I pick it up tomorrow from the shop as the front end got hit by a huge pole that came flying off a truck on the freeway.

It will never be the same but whatever , I guess. just a car.

I am about to install the Ducati of boilers in my house.

That makes me hot. Using 40% less home heating oil. Don't ask me why they still call it the 'System 2000'. My pal almost fell off his bike when I told him that. He said that sounded like 'Chef of the Future' from The Honeymooners. He is correct.
