O RLY? Care to elaborate?
You are making comments about me and you've never even met me.
Gawd young male roadies are all a bunch of ****ing pricks. The lot of you.
This piss poor egotistical attitude is precisely why my riding partners are mostly women. I can actually talk to them without being attacked every other word...

You said "almost zero body fat". I don't care who you are, if you have almost no body fat you are on death's door. Edit: I was only responding to the part of your previous post that I bolded, in case that wasn't clear.
Edit: FWIW, 5% body fat at your weight, which is pretty much the minimum healthy amount, would be over 8 pounds of fat.

If umd was incorrect you would see just about every poster dog piling on him.
Happens to me whenever I post without using my head.
Anyhow, the only way you will not have any fat will be when you have decomposed for a certain time.
I expect you will be an exceptional climber at that point.

Well, in all honesty I could see the "I have almost zero body fat" comment as being a generalization and the poster didn't mean it to be the literal truth. The criticism of it was little more enthusiastic than warranted I thought.

I started cycling when I was about 315+ pounds. I now weigh about 240, and lost the weight over about 3 years.

Actually, I use cycling to help keep my weight UP, not down. Muscle mass is not a bad thing.

Lord oh Lord. That's me. In terms of i've hav riden like 450 in the past month and a half..and tracked my food daily on thedailyplate..and haven't lost a pound. Maybe one pound. And the clothes aren't really fitting differently either. Maybe 2 pairs of slacks fit a little looser. But I tell folks all the time. Still big as ever.

HeIncreasesMe, I should add that you mention that you "tracked everything", but you didn't mention if you determined that you had a deficit or not.

25 pounds
I started out at 210 when I began cycling two years ago and within the last 3 months I have lost 25 pounds and hover around 180-185. I have to say I believe that it had to do with my diet change rather than the cycling...but I am such a better rider because I have lost the weight. I am pretty much a vegetarian with the occasional plate of fish...lots of juice and good ol'Hammer products. Life is good!
