Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

American Classic Shimano 10 speed cassette?

Can anyone tell me if American Classic made or makes a straight Shimano (as opposed to Shimano-Campy conversion) 10 speed steel cassette? The only thing I see on the AC site is conversions; guy I got this cassette from thinks it's made for Shimano hubs and drivetrain. No answer yet from American Classic. Thanks.

Shimano compatibility for a Shimano freehub = buy a Shimano cassette.

Good advice but it doesn't answer my Q. I have this AC 10 speed cassette that came to me via Ebay mistake and I'm trying to figure out for sure what it is so I can list it.

American Classic only makes conversion cassettes.

Look at the splines on the back and count them.

9 = Shimano.
