Do you shave your legs, and why?

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I guess an addendum to this would be that stubbly legs are horrible in bed.

I don't shave my legs because I'm not a girl. My legs are not really hairy and gross anyways. In the summer they go kind of blonde, so my legs look prettty clean compared to some apes I know.

i toed the water, shaved with a trimmer, didnt bic it yet. the gf says shell razor it for me. my shorts do seem to ride up less, and i feel less silly without hair peeking out all over the place. the main plus is it makes my calves look frankly ridiculous.

My legs are not very white, it was just the lighting. My tan lines are extremely pronounced...

You can see my feet for comparison in this shot

There's an unwritten law that says a man cannot shave his legs when his bike was bought at Target I think the cutoff is a minimum $1200 bike.

Yes, as motivation. A slow, fat guy with shaved legs is a little weird. A fast, less fat guy with shaved legs is simply a heavy cyclist.

Would be good for exfoliating, though.

Now she wont have to spend all of that money on spa treatments and creams.

I shaved in high school for junior racing. I haven't shaved since then, probably more out of laziness than anything.

I say do whatever makes you enjoy cycling more and keeps you on the saddle.

Unless your flaming gay there is no reason to shave your legs, no BS about oh it's so much easier to clean the cuts and scrapes, give me a friggon break. Sorry but it's not very manly at all and should be against the laws of manhood. If your a girlymon then keep on shaving and don't forget to lift the back of your skirt when you sit to pee......

I shave my legs so I can ride a nice road bike in flip flops and a bikini and people will know I'm serious.

Oh yeah, I just remembered another reason: it's threatening to men who are unsure and uncomfortable with their own sexuality.

It's an easier way of saying I cycle, than having to open my mouth and waste calories by moving my jaw muscles.
