Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

New guy here, wasn’t sure what to expect with a title “HOT R NOT” and 5 freakinmillion views. Ah well, here’s my ‘02 LeMond Tete de Course. Built for comfort, she’s my Titanium Lounge Chair. And in case you were wondering, “No, I couldn’t fit another spacer under that stem”. I tried.

The last two bikes... smh... I can understand being happy with or even proud of just about any bike, but the question is "HOT or not?" Not "does my bike look OK?"
Come to think of it, maybe the latter would be a better title for a thread like this....

Nice! Always like seeing a Titanium Lemond. However, this thread is as much about how you take the photo as how nice your bike is. Photos should be taken from the drive side, chain should be in the big ring, etc. Follow the examples from previous photos. There is a different thread where this photo belongs:

What road bike do you have?

Regarding the Lemond and its pictured chain position, I'm guessing you had to ride it up some stairs to get it to where you took this picture. As stated above, it is as much about the presentation as it is the bike in Hot r Not.

Dang. Guilty as charged - failed to notice that.

Seems to me that it could use some more yellow to match the Specialized decals.. maybe yellow hoods or yellow saddle edges or tip... or yellow pedals.

Hotsy-totsy. But I just don't like how they route the rear brake cable.

Old-er SRAM Red brakes...the Roval’s are 29.4mm wide, so they’re opened as wide as can be. I might buy a new set of Force brakes to see if I can get a bit more lever action.

Any particular reason why you chose to take pic with red garage/storage door? It's a hot, flashy Allez but it makes the bike look a bit camouflagy..unless that's what you were going for.

I totally agree, that is why I would not post a picture of my bicycle here. While I think it is a VERY nice looking steed I don't consider it is 'hot'.
