Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I saw your bike, and commented on the hotness of everything on the previous page. Your bike was included in that.

I think it's hot too. I think most BMCs, if properly built, look hot.

I definitely like the Fuji SST series frames and I think this particular build is hot.

Hi,

As of today, I've only ridden the Cannondale twice: a 15 mile check out ride and a 32 mile road race. It felt pretty good. Smooth ride and solid pedaling platform.

However, the Serotta is a custom geometry frame. It fits very well and its handling characteristics are perfect for what I want from a race bike. It's not quite as smooth as the Cannondale and the frame and fork are about 3/4 lb heavier.

I use the Serotta as my training and weekday race bike mostly because I paid quite a bit for it and it is not easily replaced. It really is the only bike that I've worried about during a race. Not a good thing to be thinking about during a race. (Weekday races are much less riskier than weekend races.)
