Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Reynolds is offering color options now, I know there's also a blue, red, and silver.

The black decals are as hot as it gets.

Bianchi, and Fulcrum get it. Not my bike, obviously Di2 (heavy junk), but pretty freaking hot despite that. If it had full Super Record 11 it would be perfect.

It's just right at 10lbs. now. I'm also in the process of adding downtube shifters and building a new wheelset which should put it right at or slightly under 9lbs.

It's definitely hot, but personally I'm getting sick of looking at matte black bikes. This "color" is a fad. This $10k Oltre doesn't look much different than the $400 Chinese framesets on eBay. I'll take celeste over matte black every time.

I like colorful bikes(obviously), but as much as I like colors I dig the matte black thing too.

1998 Merlin Extralight. I just had S&S couplers retrofitted to it, the original decals removed, and the frame cleaned up.

Components are Dura Ace 7800 group, Dura Ace wheels, Sella San Marco Regal Saddle, Brooks Tape, Vittoria EVO open Corsa tires.

I had planned to put new decals on, but I kinda like the clean look without them.

^ there's not a single Ti bike that looks better with decals on.

Take the Motobecane for example, it's stunning without the decals.

He says he already knows that. Is there one matching component on the whole bike? I think we have a top notch e-bay build here..
