Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

It was shot with a point & shoot - with a focal length of 6.7mm @ f/3.5, everything under the sun should be in focus... except he's got a shutter speed of 1/8 sec. Oops.

Beautiful. My only niggle is that the saddle looks a little bulky on an otherwise lithe bike.

If by hot you mean the number of logos it has on... IMHO, this is fugly because all of the logos clash with each other and no theme

Looks good - 2 niggles. Don't care for the saddle - doesn't go with the bike aesthetically, and the position of the brake levers seems a little odd. Too high up for me.

*edit: also after looking at the frame again blue bar tape and tires might go better with this particular frame and unify the build IMO.

**edit: a white Selle San Marco Regal would look KILLER on this bike:

they still should be totally excessable from the drops if they were up higher as well. thats one of the nice things about sram is that you can pull the shift lever in while in the drops and it only takes a very small movement to shift up or down from there.

dont be afraid to try new things with your fit. you might be supprised at how well something else works.

i just ordered this saddle.. been meaning to do it.. though that white one would be pretty cool I built the whole bike for less than the price of one of those saddles though..

as for the brake levers.. in the 80s they would make the drops level with the ground, but i like the tops level instead, which tilts everything up. The way i set the brakes on my bikes is to align the bottom of the brake lever to be in line with the bottom of the drops (i hold a ruler to the underside of the drop bar).

i think if i lowered the brakes it would look worse.. and it would definitely not be as comfortable.

and the bike is staying green

I will, I have the day off after the weekend and will have some time to tinker. I've. Been riding ever since its been done which gives me a chance to notice the little tweaks here and there that I have to make. It'll all get dialed in in the next few days and miles. Ill stop by the LBS too and see what advice those guys have for me too .....overall thought, I'm very happy with the bike.

I'm used to double sided entry on pedals lol sothe Looks are taking some getting used to but not a big problem at all. Its kind of like when you first learn to drive a stick...you fumble to get moving lol

Some of the bikes on this thread just blow my mind. Question: what did you use to hold the bike down for the pic? It looks like it could float away if not properly secured.
