That Raleigh is Hot, not going to tell you to slam it, but that stem looks kinda weird at the top of the steerer like that.

People over look Raleighs in regards to high end carbon bikes but their high end frames are some of the best around. The spacers take away from it but still hot in my opinion.

Back in the 70's we raced on British Raleighs all the time along with Peugeots and Bianchis. That was till the Indian and Chinese versions started to surface when the brand lost its charisma.

That Paketa is just oversize aluminum tubing right? Reminds me of the Old style Cannondale Road Bikes but the welding is not as smooth. It's a sweet looking ride though and the complete build came out even nicer.

At this point I want my next bike to be magnesium with campagnolo electric. Hopefully my aluminum bike w/ record10 holds out 4+ years.

I love my new bike but I often really miss my 2003 TCR Composite. That thing was just such a sweet riding bike. I hope the thieves are enjoying it.

The first Paketa frames were imported from a Russian factory that was making bikes out of their leftover magnesium tubing. I had one. The Russians were unreliable, so Paketa started building the bikes in Boulder. From what I remember, they were buying their magnesium tubing from the same source as Pinarello, when the magnesium Dogma was still being made.

ive been picture whoring due to the new crankset so i just as well throw some up here too. i just got record 10spd ultra-torque cranks on my scattante. for those that wonder why the frame is overdressed, the frameset was a highschool graduation gift from my dad. he wanted to get me a specialized but is unable to work due to a military injury. i keep looking at replacing it but dont have the heart to at this point.
