Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

You put that moots through some awkward growing phases didn't you.

I'm not sure what Corvid means but I can think of a few things that come close to rhyming with it. One of the larger challenges modern cameras face is black being a color very resistant to lighting properly. Still I think that the same details I am seeing would stand out even in low light with the naked eye. Putting large areas of contrasting gloss and matte of a similar color does nothing for the overall feel of this bike. A bike this ill advised is better off continuing to be ridden through the ghetto it is pictured in. The only way I see this one being hot is if it is being sold out of the hands of someone who stole it.

I won't consider Forza's entry until he posts a picture of it with an Audi and high heeled models in his bespoke team kit.

I wont consider Forza's entry until he strikes the term "whip," from his description.

Agree about the seat stays, but lugged carbon looks nasty to me. It would be hot with a different frame?

Close...You have the car and kit reversed. (fresh out of high heeled models too though)

Fake Carbon lugs are like brake vents on a honda civic.

what is fake about those lugs? the tubeset and lugs are molded separately and then the two are bonded together.

I don't think so, it's what makes the frame, it's custom carbon!...Indy Fab is one of the most respected custom frame builders. If I remember right, the Corvid won the bike of the year honors at the 2009 American Handmade Bicycle Show. For that it gets engineering hotness points that supersede all others.

Lugs are part of custom carbon frames...Calfee too. https://www.calfeedesign.com/products/dragonfly/

The 6.7s are hot.

Is that an 80mm stem?

Now I know you don't claim to own the bike, but I remember that being posted on WW by cippoforlife as a shop demo bike.

You are correct. I should have said UNNEEDED. Just because the lugs are technically functional, it doesn't make them useful.
