Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

i would have continued the bar wrap part way around the curve as it would result in a smoother transition but those are still sexy bars.

I plan to do that next time. I was just reusing the old bartape from my K-Wings. I need to order some new stuff now. I wish my LBS would stock Fizik Microtex. I had them order it 5 times last year.

BTW thanks guys, I am glad you like the bars, and the bike.

Try REI, the one here has black and white microtex.

Yeah, I like supporting the LBS as much as I can.

Those wheels look great on that bike. They accent it perfectly. The white hoods need to go however. I'd say it's about 100deg Fahrenheit.

Trying to have some fun with the rear derailleur housing. I was just some leftover Aztec cable from my Cannondale.

The white hoods are starting to split...so I may go black when I replace them.

Lol...thanks SA.

I thought that stem looked good on there. It's probably stiffer than 3T noodle too.

Here you go. I liked it better with the 404s, but it's still one of my BF favorites.

Even in Celsius 8.75 is pretty cold. Did you misplace the decimal point?

I give t hat a solid 70deg. It has a lot of potential, but it is no SLC-SL, and the wheels, the crankset, the Dura Ace, I find it all disturbing. It could be so much more.

I remember saying similar things, except for the wheel part. It's by far the hottest Shimano equipped bike ever. I almost would rate a microshift equipped bike higher. Just to piss off Shimano fanboys that is.

Don't talk about that here, you'll get sbxx going.... My sister's BF made it for me. His family owns a local sign company, and they do lots of custom decals and such. I imagine any local place could do it. I emailed him this picture, and told him to make it say my name, obviously instead.
