Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

No you need a heavy ass Cavendish Stem. It looks so awesome on a Venge. It's worth the weight, just in pure appearance value.

Speaking of 3T noodles. This is about as 100deg, as a 3T stem could be.

The stem bike combo, just cannot be beat. The way the top tube rises up behind the stem, it just looks great. Especially in the 135mm length.

I have Zipp Service Course SL too. I like the Spesh stem because you can fine tune the angle. The red and white stripes go well with the ones on the frame...at least to me.

The venge is badass but the shape reminds me of a dog hunching over to poo. Still hot though IMO

See, that is the visionary type of comment sorely lacking here. I do like the function of the PRO stuff I have used but had they taken the effort to coordinate the black body with a subdued logo treatment and red stripe along the top. It would have become the only stem to have on that bike.

It's no Cervelo but a great bike nevertheless. Sorry but living in an apartment = no garage door.

I really like the component choice as well as the overall aesthetic. I would say it is hot.. there's something about the subtle red tones that really work.

Thanks Charlie! The red only appears on the top tube as the "Pro" as well as few words on the seat tube. Also, small accent on cages. Not seen in this photo but the bars have a small Easton logo in red on front and the Selle Italia seat has a red stripe going down the middle. Im considering building a lightweight set of climbing wheels this winter and using red hubs as well. The rest of the wheel will be black.

Not a Specialized fan, but I give that a hot, around 32C (if we're still playing this temperature game)

Holy S*** that is going to look great on my Scott CR1 SL.

You realize that 100 degrees F is just barely warm, right? Just checking....

Proof that you can't buy good taste. Mismatched reds, odd saddle angle, those hideous DI2 shifters, photo composition and background. Sorry. Not.
